What is WebP to PNG conversion?
WebP is efficient for websites, while PNG is often easier to use in design apps, slide software and workflows that require a transparent background. Converting is especially useful for logos, icons, screenshots and interface assets downloaded in WebP format.
The converter decodes the WebP pixels and writes a new PNG at the same dimensions. Alpha transparency is retained when it exists. PNG uses lossless encoding, so the output can be larger than the WebP source even though the visible image remains unchanged.
