Terms of use
Last updated: 21 August 2026
By uploading a photo, you agree to these terms and to the temporary processing described in the privacy policy.
Permitted use
You may use ExifGone to process photos you own or are authorized to process. Do not upload unlawful content, abuse service limits, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another user’s temporary job.
Your responsibility
You remain responsible for the photos you upload and publish. Removing metadata does not remove visible information such as faces, addresses, documents or license plates. Review the generated copy before sharing it and keep your original if you may need it later.
Protected-link limitations
A protected link controls ordinary access but is not DRM and cannot guarantee that a recipient will not copy the photo. Temporal rendering degrades a single screenshot, but screen recording can average its phases; another camera and technically skilled reconstruction also remain possible. Use the expiry, one-time view and revoke controls with that limitation in mind.
Service availability
The service is provided free of charge and may change, be limited or become temporarily unavailable. We do not promise that every metadata format or field can be detected or removed from every file.
No warranty
ExifGone is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose or complete removal of every possible hidden field. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service operator is not liable for indirect loss arising from use of the service.
Changes
These terms may be updated when the service or its processing changes. The current version and its date are published on this page.
